Bar Dice - Dice Game Rules

A lively and social dice game often played in bars where players compete to roll the highest scoring combinations

Players: 2+

Ages: 21+

Time: 30-60 minutes

Setup: 5 dice and a cup to each player

Turn order: Clockwise

Goal: The goal of the game is to score the highest points by rolling specific combinations of the dice.

Cycle (4 rounds):

1. Roll: On their turn, a player shakes and rolls all five dice up to three times, setting aside any dice they want to keep between rolls.
2. Score: Players aim to roll combinations such as:
- Five of a kind: Scores 50 points.
- Four of a kind: Scores 40 points.
- Full house (three of a kind plus a pair): Scores 30 points.
- Straight (1-2-3-4-5 or 2-3-4-5-6): Scores 20 points.
3. Record: The player records their score for that turn on the score sheet.
4. Pass: The turn passes to the next player.
Ending: The game can end after a predetermined number of rounds or when a player reaches a certain score. The player with the highest total score at the end of the game wins.
