A fun and strategic dice game where players compete to be the first to reach 10,000 points through rolling and risk-taking (also known as (or 10000, 10,000 Dice, Ten Grand, Greed, Dix Mille, Reload, 5-Dice)
Players: 2+
Ages: 8+
Time: 30-60 minutes
Setup: 6 dice and a scoresheet to each player
Turn order: Clockwise
Goal: The goal of the game is to be the first player to reach 10,000 points.
Cycle (4 rounds):
1. Roll: On their turn, a player rolls all six dice.
2. Scoring: The player sets aside any dice that have point values (1s, 5s, three of a kind, four of a kind, etc.) and can choose to roll the remaining dice to accumulate more points.
3. Bank: If the player decides to stop rolling, they bank their accumulated points for that turn. If they roll and no scoring dice appear, they lose all points accumulated in that turn and their turn ends.
4. Pass: The turn then passes to the next player.
Ending: The game ends when a player reaches or exceeds 10,000 points. After a player reaches 10,000 points, each other player has one last turn to try to surpass that score. The player with the highest score after all players have had their final turn wins the game.
