Pig - Dice Game Rules

Pig is a simple and exciting dice game where players race to be the first to reach 100 points by taking risks and rolling a single die (also known as Dice Pig).

Players: 2+

Ages: 6+

Time: 20-30 minutes

Setup: Each player needs one six-sided die and a score sheet to keep track of points.

Turn order: Clockwise

Goal: The goal of the game is to be the first player to reach 100 points.

Cycle (4 rounds):

1. Roll: On their turn, a player rolls a single die as many times as they choose, accumulating points for each roll.
2. Score: If the player rolls any number from 2 to 6, they add that number to their turn total.
3. Hold: The player can choose to "hold" and add their turn total to their overall score, ending their turn.
4. Pig: If the player rolls a 1, they score zero points for that turn, and their turn ends immediately.

Ending: The game ends when a player reaches a total score of 100 points or more. That player is declared the winner.
