RPG on a Roll - Dice Game Rules

A dice-based dungeon RPG

Setup: Pick a class and grab dice.

Goal: Defeat all 5 levels of the dungeon

Cycle:

  • Roll yellow monster dice (levels:4-6-8-10-12)
  • Roll player dice.  Make adjustments/re-rolls.
  • Eliminate monsters.  Each monster not blocked or eliminated costs 1 die from the party.  Repeat until all monsters eliminated
  • Level up (more dice) and progress

ATTACK DICE (Red):
~ Remove single monster of same or lower value
~ Each matching die adds +1 (2=+1 all; 3=+2 all..)

SHIELD DICE (Blue):
~ Block two monsters of same value per die
~ Each matching die adds +1 to block total

MAGIC DICE (Purple):
~ Remove monsters that sum exactly to each die
~ If 3 magic match, eliminate all monsters that value

CUNNING DICE (Green):
~ Either friendly re-roll of all matching dice (once)
~ OR enemy re-roll of all matching dice
