Sevens - Dice Game Rules
Sevens is an engaging dice game where players aim to roll combinations that add up to seven.
Players: 2+
Ages: 6+
Time: 10-20 minutes
Setup: 2 dice and a scoresheet to each player
Turn order: Clockwise
Goal: The goal of the game is to score the most points by rolling combinations that add up to seven.
Cycle (4 rounds):
1. Roll: On their turn, a player rolls both dice.
2. Score: If the sum of the dice equals seven, the player scores a point. If not, they score zero for that roll.
3. Record: The player records their score for that turn on the score sheet.
4. Pass: The turn passes to the next player.
Ending: The game can be played for a set number of rounds, typically agreed upon before starting, or until a player reaches a predetermined score. The player with the highest total score at the end of the game wins.
